XGD INC. has made significant strides in its digital currency initiatives at the start of the year. On February 1, XGD INC. participated as a pioneering partner in Suzhou's digital yuan efforts at the "Suzhou Digital Currency Pilot Promotion Conference and Annual Summary Meeting." Following this, on February 4, JLPay, a subsidiary of XGD INC., officially established its Suzhou branch during the "Focus on Dual Centers, Achieve New Milestones" industry integration development conference and key project signing event.

The First Session of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress convened in Guangzhou. Liu Xiang, Chairman and General Manager of XGD INC., who is also a newly appointed representative, attended the meeting and submitted a proposal titled "Accelerating the Development of the Cross-Border Digital Yuan Payment Environment in the Greater Bay Area."

The "2021 Shenzhen Financial Innovation Award Results Exhibition and Financial Forum of the Pilot Demonstration Zone" took place at the Shenzhen Civic Center. As a highlight of financial innovation, XGD INC.'s subsidiary, NEXGO, received the Third Prize for Contribution for its project on the "Domestic Development of Intelligent Financial Payment Terminals."

On 29 October 2021, Shenzhen Intelligent Transportation Industry Association (SITIA), together with more than 50 enterprises, released the ‘Safety Management Specification for Urban Commercial Operation of Low-speed Unmanned Vehicles’, which is the first group standard for urban commercial operation of low-speed unmanned vehicles in China. As a standard-setting participant, XGD attended the launch event held at Shenzhen Shenhang International Hotel on the same day.

On the evening of 18th March, the CCTV financial channel ‘Economic Half Hour’ broadcasted a special report on ‘Small Giants Leading the Big Game’. As one of the second batch of ‘small giants’ enterprises in China, NEXGO, a wholly-owned subsidiary of XGD, appeared on the programme, telling the national audience the story of XGD's core competitiveness in science and technology, breaking the monopoly of foreign countries, and becoming a leading payment technology enterprise by virtue of its high-quality products and services.
